In accordance with § 40 of the GmbHG the managing director has to immediately submit each change in the identity of the shareholders or the range of their participation by signed partner list to the companies register.

The list of the company shareholders must include the following details of the individual shareholders:

• full name
• date of birth
• place of residence
• capital invested

Since the 01.01.2007 all documents to the registry office are to be conveyed in electronic form.
